 Become a volunteer for the 3^rd European Transgender Council 2010!

 

As you very well know, it is high time for Transgender Europe’s Council. This year it will be held in Malmö (Sweden) under the theme Embracing Diversity. Stretching Boundaries. Demanding Rights.

Everyone is welcome to join us in the beautiful city of Malmö from Thursday, September 30^th in the evening until Sunday, October 3^rd in the afternoon!

 

BUT! To make all the practicalities easy, to ensure smooth registration, delicious lunches and breaks, as well as provide assistance of any kind, we will need the invaluable support of volunteers! And this is where we need you! :)

 

If you are interested in joining us in Malmö, meeting hundreds of amazing people working for trans* rights, participating in workshops and creating new networks, you like working with people, and additionally, you would really love to help us make this event run smooth and create an unforgettable atmosphere… you are the one we are looking for!

 

We are looking for volunteers, who would:

-       Take care of registration desk

-       Help out with tea/coffee breaks

-       Provide information to participants

-       Assist workshop leaders

-       Assist participants with finding their way in Malmö

-       Help co-ordinate volunteers

-       Have driving license

-       Have experience with art

-       etc…

Each volunteer will work a few shifts, which will allow them to participate in workshops and take advantage of the multicultural setting.

What we can offer you in return is

-       free participation in the Council’s workshops (outside of your shifts) and events

-       meals during your work shifts

-       opportunity to participate in the Council’s party!

-       opportunity of working in multicultural setting

-       opportunity to network with activists from all over Europe and beyond!

If you need accommodation during the duration of the Council, we can assist you in finding an affordable place to stay.
