Plenary session 1 (Friday, May 2nd, 10.30am - 11.15am):

Results of Study on Legal & Health Situations of Transgender People in Europe

Prof. Stephen Whittle (Professor for Equalities Law, Manchester Metropolitan University, Chairman of HABIGDA and Chairman of Press for Change)

The study was conducted by Press for Change (UK) in conjunction with ILGA Europe and Transgender Europe. More than 2000 Transgender people participated. This presentation will be the first time that the study is presented to a wider public and will be complemented by a workshop exploring the findings in greater detail.

Human Rights
