TGEU is the largest trans-led network worldwide. Since its creation in 2005, TGEU keeps growing and establishing itself as a legitimate voice for the trans community in Europe and Central Asia. How to become a member?
TGEU offers these two types of membership categories:
- Full membership: for trans led groups and individuals actively engaged in trans rights activism and based in Europe and Central Asia
- This category of membership will give you voting rights as well as access to resources available to full members only (in-person trainings, scholarships, individualised consultation…). It is available for organisations which are charitably or politically active and provide support to trans people (for example, self-help groups). Groups may have other fields of work, but support for trans people should be one of the principal activities.
- Supporting membership: for groups and individuals who are allies or based outside of our regional scope ie. Europe and Central Asia
- While supporting members do not enjoy the same rights as full members (e.g. rights to vote, access to certain full members-only opportunities…), supporting members are vital to strengthen our collective efforts and work towards a Europe, Central Asia and world free from discrimination.
